I am writing to express my gratitude to each of you who responded to our 1852 Society campaign that culminated on Giving Tuesday. We have doubled our number of 1852 Society members as a result of your generosity—thank you!
I am excited and grateful to share that MTS received a monumental gift in recognition of Giving Tuesday. The estate of Dr. Clinton Buck will be matching all gifts made to MTS in the month of December up to $50,000!
We are grateful to God for this blessing, and we hope you might prayerfully consider a gift toward our matching pledge of $50,000 before December 31st. Your donation will be doubled, and if we reach our goal, you will be part of a $100,000 total contribution!
Professor Emeritus Dr. Clinton Buck passed away in October of this year. Dr. Buck served the seminary as both Interim Dean and Interim President. Dr. Buck had a passion for our mission and was tireless in his efforts to grow the Baird-Buck Endowment that funds the Cumberland Presbyterian House of Studies.
Please help us honor Dr. Buck’s lifelong service in ministry with a contribution to this campaign. Your support will help us to continue to form leaders for the Church and the world.
