MTS alumna, Rev. Lisa Anderson was honored Sunday, March 26th at the 33rd annual Women of Achievement awards reception. Eight women from the Memphis area were celebrated for outstanding leadership at the Holiday Inn University of Memphis. Rev. Lisa Anderson received the Courage Award. Women of Achievement, Inc., bestows this award on “a woman who, facing active opposition, backed an unpopular cause in which she deeply believed.”
