A sought-after teacher and preacher in churches throughout the southeast, Dr. deClaissé-Walford offers a variety of courses, lessons, and sermons on topics that include the books of Genesis and Psalms, the wisdom literature of the Old Testament, the history of the English Bible, and feminist biblical interpretation. She has authored five books and numerous journal articles and book chapters. She serves as Old Testament Editor for the Word Biblical Commentary series and on the steering committee for the Psalms Section of the Society of Biblical Literature.
