The Navy Chaplain Corps is a diverse group of over 800 chaplains representing various faith groups from around the world.
As a Navy Chaplain, your responsibilities will include supporting fellow servicemembers during life’s milestones and challenges.
- Plan and lead worship services in different settings
- Conduct ceremonies such as weddings and baptisms, and provide counseling services to those in need
- Develop and implement religious education programs for youth and adults
- Visit hospitalized personnel and their families to provide spiritual guidance and support
- Train lay leaders to conduct religious education programs
- Promote attendance at religious services and events, and advise leaders on morale and spiritual well-being
This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
