ADMISSIONS
For each of our degree programs, we require prospective students to complete an application that includes references. Reference information can be found on the applications or by visiting the reference links below.

HOW TO APPLY TO MTS

Complete admission application

Complete an application for the program that you are seeking to be admitted. We have online and paper applications available for each program. MTS does not have a preference for which application you use to apply.

Once your application is completed, one of our recruiters will reach out to you to update you on the process and guide you if you have any questions.

Submit the non-refundable application fee 

Masters Application: $45
Doctoral Application: $65
Former Student Application: $0
Other Applications:   $15

You can pay using a credit card, Visa or Mastercard, by contacting our Business Office by phone 901-334-5822. There will be a 2.75% charge if you pay over the phone OR you can mail a check or money order to:

Transcripts

You will need to send official transcript/s from all colleges, universities, and graduate schools you have ever attended.            All transcripts must be sent by the issuing institution to MTS Admissions.

Fill out the FAFSA (optional)
IF you anticipate receiving student loans to fund your theological education, it is best that you complete your FAFSA as you are completing the admissions process so that your Financial Aid may be processed quickly. The financial aid application is called the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Apply online at  studentaid.gov and indicate the MTS School Code G10529. Complete the  2023-2024 FAFSA if you are getting AID for the Fall 2023, Spring 2024 and/or Summer 2024 (Use 2021 taxes) Complete the  2024-2025 FAFSA if you are getting AID for the Fall 2024, Spring 2025 and/or Summer 2025 (Use 2022 taxes)
