Rev. Willard Murrie, 97, minister member of Covenant Presbytery, died Thursday morning, April 20th at his home in Vienna Illinois. He was a graduate of Bethel College, Memphis Theological Seminary, and served on the Board of Trustees of MTS. He served four years as a chaplain in the US Army, and pastored churches in Illinois, Tennessee, Oklahoma, and Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his wife Betty and daughter Alisa. He is survived by two daughters, Carol and Rinda, and their families, and by several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Arrangements are incomplete at this time.
