On Wednesday, November 7, Rev. Lisa Scott will preach for us in chapel at 11:10 am. Rev. Scott is a recent Vice Moderator of the General Assembly
The Rev. Peter Jeffrey will be our guest musician during chapel. Rev. Jeffrey is the senior pastor of Holly Grove CP Church in Brighton, TN, and past director of the Renaissance Program at Bethel University.
Chapel service will be followed by a luncheon sponsored by the Cumberland Presbyterian House of Studies. The Rev. Dr. Susan Parker, Interim President of MTS, will give a presentation on Rev. Louisa Woosley.
The occasion is the anniversary of the ordination of Rev. Louisa Woosley. Rev. Woosley was a Cumberland Presbyterian, and the first female clergy ordained in the Reformed Tradition.
