Dear MTS Community,

MTS President
Rev. Dr. Jody Hill

When God called me to ministry, I left a lucrative job in a family-owned construction company.  Without the support of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church and other gracious donors, I could  not have attended our seminary. I remain forever grateful to those who sacrificed to equip me as a leader in the Church, and I am deeply committed to supporting our students in their journey  toward ordination or lay leadership in the Church and community.

MTS alums include a Grammy Award-winning artist, a Vice President of Baptist Memorial  Hospital, the founder of Room in the Inn, the co-founder of Crosstown Arts, renowned pastors, and multiple chaplains at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Methodist Le Bonheur, in the U.S. military, and elsewhere. The world is indeed a better reflection of Christ’s love because of  the ministry of MTS graduates.

One Cumberland Presbyterian couple is so inspired by the impact of our alums that they  have offered to match up to $70,000 for all donations recorded before our fiscal year ends on July 31st. We are grateful to God for this blessing, and we hope you might prayerfully consider a gift toward our matching pledge of $70,000 before July 31st. Your donation will be  doubled, and if we reach our goal, you will be part of a $140,000 total contribution that will  help us continue to form leaders for the Church and the world!

With deepest gratitude and prayerful blessings,
Rev. Dr. Jody Hill
