We are excited to announce that Memphis Theological Seminary has received a $50,000 planning grant from Lilly Endowment Inc. The Pathways for Tomorrow Initiative is designed to help theological schools strengthen their capacities to prepare and support pastoral leaders for congregations.
President Jody Hill says, “Memphis Theological Seminary pursues its mission so Christian leaders and the churches they serve can effectively proclaim and embody Jesus Christ to the world. This gracious gift will allow us to more fully serve our students who in turn serve the Church. We are deeply grateful for our partnership with Lilly Endowment Inc.”
The MTS planning grant will be administered by Dr. Christopher Davis, Dr. Gail Robinson, Dr. Pete Gathje, and Dr. Jody Hill.
