Deborah Taylor joined the faculty in 2017. Her research interests include andragogic web-based instruction, mobile technologies, distance learning, and information literacy. Dr. Taylor has authored several articles, book reviews, and blog articles, in addition to conducting numerous academic conference presentations. Dr. Taylor has traveled internationally through the sponsorship of the Middle Eastern Travel Seminar and the Missouri Chapter of Rotary International. She is the author, founder, and curator of “Ezekiel’s Mark Daily Prayer Devotions” and the “Issachar Writing Tribe.”

Prior to MTS, she served as Cataloging Manager at the Benjamin Hooks Public Library and Assistant Professor, Acquisitions at The University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center.

Dr. Taylor describes herself as a creative visionary with a passion for research, writing, and the development of lifelong learners.
